The Salvation Army is hosting its first “Red Kettle Kick-Off … Race for Hope” fundraising luncheon on Thursday, November 8 at 11:30 a.m.  at their spectacular new Ray and Joan Kroc Community Center, 1375 East Broadway.

Edsel Ford, a member of the board of directors of Ford Motor Company and a past chairman of The Salvation Army’s National Advisory Board, will be the keynote speaker.  NASCAR Cup Driver Michael McDowell will be a special guest speaker as well. In 2008, McDowell survived one of the worst crashes in NASCAR history.

Tickets are $10 per person or $100 to host a table of 10. Table hosts will be responsible for inviting their own guests. An opportunity to support The Salvation Army will be given at the luncheon.
