It seems like the older I get the less time I have to sit around and watch a couple of episodes of my favorite show. With a toddler running around the house all hours of the day, sitting on the couch is something I almost dream of.

I came across Netflix years ago when I decided that paying almost $80 for satellite TV was outrageous. First of all, I rarely had the time to sit around and watch an hour of TV, let alone a whole season of anything.
At only $7.99 a month, Netflix offers hundreds of movies and TV shows that are available when you want and where you want; (as long as you have Internet connection of course) anywhere from your iPad, to your desktop and your smart TV.
I only have the chance to watch TV about three times a week, and it feels amazing to be able to watch my favorite show or movie whenever I have the time. Although it took me a couple of months to finish watching the hit series, Breaking Bad, I finally did, and let me tell you, it is definitely one to watch.

Without a doubt, Netflix eliminates any possibility of me signing a contract with cable or satellite any time soon. It is rare when the TV is turned on in my house, but it is nice to know that I am not throwing away money on cable that I would rarely even watch
From a mom’s point of view, Netflix is definitely a great alternative to cable. Whether you are on a budget or simply looking to save a couple of bucks for your next vacation, this is a great substitute.
